Strand Penthouse

Beautiful finishes enhance our client’s home. Buffalo leather floors, polished plaster walls and velvet mohair upholstery complement the Santos rosewood and stained wenge veneers. Karin Verzariu created the bespoke design for six large marquetry sliding doors to conceal a plasma screen and storage in the cinema room. A cinema screen, concealed in a beam, is lowered when the ceiling-mounted projector is used.

The heating, air conditioning, lighting and curtains are controlled by a Crestron home automation system. From the cosy den with custom-made Rosewood fitted furniture and a unique leather and wenge parquet floor there is access to a roof terrace which affords splendid views over London and the Thames.
